How long will it take to get my bike?
Once you have placed your order we will send your bike within 3 days.
Can I test ride a bike?
Yes... send us an email to book a test ride at our Melbourne warehouse.
How do I pay for my order?
Our checkout takes Credit Card payments through a secure connection.
If you don't have a Credit Card, you can still submit your order, and we'll arrange an alternate payment. We accept Bank Transfers, and for Melbourne Pickups, Eftpos too.
I'm buying a bike as a gift. Can they can choose the colours?
Absolutely! Get a Jellybean Bikes gift voucher and get a custom code that allows them to build their own bike online and have it mailed to their door.
Does my bike come assembled?
Your bike is around 85% assembled. There's a small amount of assembly for you which is set out in our instruction book. All you need to do is fit your seat, pedals, handlebars and front wheel. Your Back wheel is in, your chain and brakes are adjusted and ready to go.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately we only ship within Australia and Tasmania due to high air freight costs.
How much does delivery cost?
We ship Australia wide for $50. Pickup at our warehouse in Richmond Victoria is free.
What's the difference between a Fixie and a Single speed?
A Single speed is just that. There's no gears to change and you can stop pedalling to coast along like a regular bike. A Fixie is similar but you cannot coast. The pedals go all the time so you need to be confident on your bike to ride this way.
Are your bikes Fixed gear or single speed?
Our bikes come with a "Flip Flop hub". This means that there's a fixed gear cog on one side and freewheel on the other side. Just take the rear wheel out, flip it 180 degrees and put it back in. Your chain will then use the other cog.
Warranty
Jellybean Bikes warrants the frame and fork of each new Jellybean bicycle to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. All other original components and all Jellybean Bike brand repair parts, moving parts and accessories are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of (3) months from the original date of purchase.
The above warranty, or any implied warranty, does not cover normal wear and tear, and all warranties are void if the bicycle is used for other than normal activities. Jellybean bikes will not cover bicycles for commercial activities or in competitive events, including bicycle racing, bicycle motorcross racing, stunt riding, ramp jumping or similar activities, and training for such activities or events.
Jellybean Bikes makes no other warranties, express or implied.
All implied warranties, are limited in duration to that of the express warranties stated above.
Compliance
All Jellybean Bicycles are compliant with the Australian Standards AS/NZS 1927:1998 Pedal Bicycle Safety Requirements.
All bicycles are delivered to you with the following:
- Front & Rear Brakes
- Reflectors - Front Spoke & Front Stem & Back Spoke & Back Tube
- Bell
The purchaser of the Jellybean Bike must assemble their bicycle with the components provided.
The instruction guide shall be used for the assembly of the Jellybean Bike.
